Top Tips on Having Lip Fillers in Thailand

Although lip filler injections is a nonsurgical procedure and it may not seem all that major, it is still a cosmetic procedure that you need to put some thought into. So, to help you with the planning and to ensure you have the best experience, here are the top tips you absolutely need to know before having lip fillers in Thailand.

    1. Research the doctor and the medical clinic

This is possibly the most important thing you should do to avoid any complications. Sure, there are many clinics/hospitals in Thailand that offer lip fillers, but not all of them can perform it well. An inexperienced doctor with little skills can insert too much filler in the wrong areas, making your lips look uneven instead of plump. Read the reviews, study the before and after pictures, and make sure the doctor is board-certified and the clinic is accredited. An excellent doctor will ensure that your smile remains balanced and will look natural. Some of the most recommended places in Thailand for lip fillers are Phuket Plastic Surgery Institute (PPSI), Bangkok Plastic Surgery, Jungceylon Plastic Surgery Phuket, and Nirunda International Aesthetic Clinic. The doctors at these clinics know exactly what they are doing and will give you the plumper pout you have always wished for.

    1. Learn all of the facts about lip fillers

There are many variations of lip fillers on the market, from collagen to hyaluronic acid. The most common type today is Juvaderm and Restylane. Learning about this can help you decide which one is best for you, or at least give you an initial picture of what you are getting yourself into. Not all types of lip fillers will give you the same results. The amount of time they stay in your lips can be different as well and it is also highly recommended that you learn all the risks that come with this procedure, such as allergic reaction and infection.

    1. Know what to pack

Since you are this far away from home, make sure you pack everything you will need to be comfortable throughout your travel. Since Thailand is a tropical country, bring comfortable and light clothes because the temperatures are typically very hot. Also, pack your medical record. A good doctor will want to see your medical history to make sure the fillers are safe for you and to avoid any unwanted allergic reactions.

    1. Find out what’s inclusive of the price

Lip filler injection is a lunchtime procedure, meaning you should be able to leave the hospital/clinic right away. However, you may still need to stay in Thailand for a few days to ensure everything is okay. This means that you need a hotel to stay at, preferably one that is close to your hospital. Also, you need transportation to get around, particularly from the airport to the hospital. Therefore, find out what is included in the price to make sure you know what you are paying for. Some clinics, such as V Plast Clinic Pattaya, usually include airport pickup and hotel booking within their price. If the hospital of your choice does not include any of these, you will need to arrange it yourself.
