For all dental procedures, a dentist will need to evaluate the current status of a patients’ teeth and general mouth area before they can make an accurate assessment of the most suitable treatment before they can give an estimate of the costs involved.
The following 5 photos should be taken and sent across as soon as possible. Until these photos are made available to the dentist, they’re unable to provide an accurate assessment. Also, note that these photos must accompany a Patient Medical Profile – this information is also required by the dentist so they’re able to better understand a patient’s medical history, current and past medications, etc. If x-rays are available, these should also be sent over, as they will be useful too for helping to assess the situation.
